PROGRAM 01
Child Protection
Child Protection and Safeguarding is a core program dedicated to ensuring that children grow up in safe, nurturing, and protective environments free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, violence, and harmful practices. The program works closely with families, communities, schools, local authorities, and other stakeholders to identify risks affecting children and implement preventive measures that promote their well-being and development. Through awareness campaigns, capacity building, and community engagement, we strengthen child protection systems and empower caregivers to provide the care and support children need to thrive. The program also provides direct support to children who are at risk or have experienced abuse, neglect, trafficking, exploitation, or other forms of harm. This includes rescue interventions, psychosocial support, case management, family strengthening initiatives, and safe reintegration into families and communities whenever appropriate. By establishing effective safeguarding policies, reporting mechanisms, and referral networks, we ensure that every child receives protection, care, and opportunities to reach their full potential in a secure and supportive environment.
